Mrs. Mildred Frances (Nutile) Beeler, 88, of Ipswich, beloved wife of the late F. She continued her education, earning her degree from Professional Secretarial School in Boston.Mrs. Beeler had been employed with the town of Saugus Public Schools as a secretary for over 35 years until the time of her retirement. With an active and outgoing personality, Millie endeared herself to many. She was known for her warm and engaging smile and found her greatest joy from helping others. She was a worker bee — by her own accord — and would always lend a hand to those in need. She volunteered at the VNA in Danvers, at the Box-Top Shop in Topsfield, and was a Eucharistic minister for many years at St. Rose of Lima Parish in Topsfield and Blessed Sacrament Church in Saugus.A longtime resident of the of the town of Saugus prior to moving to Ipswich 20 years ago, Millie enjoyed spending her time gardening, sewing, crafting, and watching her beloved Boston Red Sox.She was an active member of the Topsfield Council on Aging and made many friends there over the years.A loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Millie was devoted to her family. She was especially adored by her grandchildren, and she, in turn, showered them with love. She never missed a sporting or childhood event and would often be found cheering the loudest from the sidelines or audience. She traveled near and far to be in support of her family and attended every single high school and college graduation of all 13 of her grandchildren. As a traditional woman of Italian heritage, she was an excellent cook and shared her recipes and secret cooking skills with all her children and grandchildren. She was ultimately proud of all her family’s accomplishments.
